Affirmations, or mantras, are like non-denominational prayers. They have the power to retrain your brain to vibrate in coherence with your heart. They can also piss a girl all the way off… Repeating something you don’t believe is possible, is problematic to say the least. It can totally make you feel worse. You don’t need that kind of negativity! Choose affirmations you believe are true or try progressive affirmations. That’s when you affirm that you are getting closer to goals you don’t currently believe are possible through baby action steps.

Ex: ‘Every healthy food and exercise choice I make gets me closer to my goal weight of 138.’

Some of my favorite mantras are:

  • I let go and let good things happen
  • I am always in the right place at the right time
  • I’ve got this
  • I am enough as is

You are enough as is! Now go out and affirm that sh*t!
